The brick wall of the Cigar Connection lounge, hung with framed vintage cigar artwork and portraits

The lounge

A room with the light turned down

Exposed brick, dark walnut panelling, brown leather armchairs and a wall of framed cigar art. At the back, the humidor glows. This is what a good evening looks like.

The atmosphere

Quiet enough to talk

The lounge is built for conversation. Low light, comfortable chairs, and music kept at the level where you don't have to raise your voice — whether it's two of you at the end of the day or a table of six.

There are a handful of tables, so it rarely feels crowded. Order a drink up from downstairs or from the bar, settle into a chair, and let the evening take its time.

Details

The room, properly

The walls

Original exposed brick, dark walnut panelling, and the framed cigar artwork and portraits that have hung there since we opened.

The chairs

Deep brown leather tub chairs around low wooden tables — the kind you sink into and stay in. Cigar ashtrays and torch lighters on every table.

The bar

A lit bar at one side of the room. Wine, spirits and beer — including draught Guinness, which does unspeakably good things next to a cigar.
